Stable power supply and advanced protection
The M5S video recorder provides 5V / 3A via USB-C, protecting against voltage drops during recording and data transmission. IPS electronics include low voltage, overcurrent, overload, short circuit and reverse polarity protection to protect the car battery and equipment.

Clean and reliable fuselage mounting
Three-point connection (ACC, VCC/B+, GND) with fuse plugs available in three formats (mini/small/medium). The wiring uses 22 AWG copper and fire-resistant ABS to withstand the load and temperature, and is hidden behind the dashboard and frees up the cigarette lighter socket.

24/7 parking with app control
Allows you to set the voltage threshold (for safe shutdown), parking duration and mode (time-lapse, normal or idle) in the app. When the engine is turned off, 1fps time-lapse video recording is automatically activated to extend the monitoring time and save space.

Compatibility and limitations
USB-C type version for M5S (12V). Not for 24V vehicles. Professional assembly is recommended to select the correct fuse and ensure a solid ground; poor connection can cause IPS shutdowns or false positives.

Compared to the M5S powered by a cigarette lighter charger, this kit provides smart start/stop, 24/7 parking and battery protection with a discreet installation. Compared to the OBD wiring kit (more plug & play and suitable for electric vehicles), the IPS offers 5V/3A output and wiring to the fuse box, which is preferable for a stable solution with better integration; On the other hand, it requires integration into the fuse box and does not support 24V. It is a very well-balanced device if you are looking for reliability, electrical safety and a clean installation that allows you to use the DDPAI M5S in parking mode, independent of the accessory socket.
