These restraint cages are primarily designed to facilitate injections, vaccinations, anesthesia or other treatments for feral or aggressive cats and other small animals. Some veterinarians and animal welfare experts also refer to them as a “squeeze cage” or “squeeze box”. The cage is made of metal with a plastic coating. Sliding bars allow animals to be easily secured for external injections.

This version is made to the same high quality as our transport cages, but has a restraint panel that gently restrains the animal for intramuscular injections (or other treatments). The cage consists of a standard transport cage with a movable partition on the inside, to which are attached transitions that protrude from the basket and form handles. In practice, the partition is pulled forward until the animal is gently but firmly held against the wall of the basket. In this position, the handles can be squeezed with one hand while the injection is performed with the other. A spare locking rod is available.
